Mr Olivier Amar says: ‘We have this wonderful tissue available to us, in the form of our own fat. I am a huge advocate of using your own body tissues to regenerate your face’
Mr Olivier Amar offers Nano Fat transfer, also known as small quantity fat transfer. In this procedure, a small amount of fat between 10 and 20cc/ml is liquified and highly filtered until it becomes extremely fluid yet naturally rich in SVF stem cells. This emulsified fat can then be used to rejuvenate even delicate areas such as the neck, decolletage and around the eye, including in the tear-trough hollows under the eye. Nano Fat can improve the tone and texture of skin, including reducing fine lines and crepey skin, even in areas that are hard to treat with synthetic fillers. It may be combined with super enriched fat transfer with SVF stem cells for overall facial rejuvenation or used alone.
Due to the adipose derived mesenchymal cells, nano fat is more than just a filler alternative – it has a variety of uses all over the face, and because it heals and rejuvanates ‘from the inside out’. Nano fat gives an all-round, subtle and natural softening effect in the areas that it treats, as it builds on your own internal tissue structures, creating a healing response from deep within the facial tissues so your skin continues to regenerate and restore from the inside out.
The nano fat injections procedure can be performed under local anaesthetic as day surgery, meaning you will be able to go home shortly afterwards or under total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA). A technique of anaesthesia which uses a combination of agents given exclusively via the intravenous route without the use of gas anaesthesia. This means you will sleep comfortably throughout the procedure and wake immediately afterwards with a significantly reduced likelihood of feeling groggy or nauseous. The anaesthesia will be explained to you by your anaesthetist during the preoperative consultation. Having surgery with TIVA allows you to go home the same day to rest and recuperate in comfort. Mr Olivier Amar’s practice is happy to assist with a nurse to stay with you overnight if you wish, as well as helping you find local accommodation after your surgery if necessary.
