Given the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic, on resuming face to face appointments we are doing all we can to minimise the risk of Coronavirus cross infection.
Appointments at the Cadogan Clinic will be conducted in line with the UK government’s social distancing measures and fully compliant with all PPE guidance from Public Health England and NHS England.
We outline below a series of steps and precautionary measures so that you, our patient, are protected during your visit.
Pre-appointment: We will conduct telephone screening at the point of booking which will be repeated 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure no change to your situation. We will ask you to provide Informed Consent that you understand the risks of visiting for your appointment, however minimal they may be.
Arrive on time: For your safety and convenience, please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. You will be asked to wait outside and receive a notification by text message when you can enter the clinic.
Attend alone: To limit the chance of patients coming into contact with people other than their practitioner, please attend your appointment alone.
Payment protocols: Where possible, we ask that all payments are paid up front before arriving for your appointment to minimise face to face time. No cash will be accepted to limit the risk of cross infection.
What to expect on arrival: During this period, you will be welcomed by a trained nurse for a temperature and symptom check. Hand sanitiser, surgical gloves and a surgical mask will be provided and you will be shown directly to Mr Olivier Amar’s consultation room.
Symptoms: If you or members of your household have associated symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment and encourage self-isolation for 7-14 days in line with Government advice.
Cleaning: The Cadogan Clinic is subject to the strictest infection control protocols and is deep cleaned thoroughly each night.
