What is Obagi Nu-Derm Fx System?
Obagi Medical products work by changing the way the skin functions at a cellular level, delivering unparalleled results. Nu-Derm Fx System helps to transform the skin by addressing hyperpigmentation and improving visible signs of skin aging. This system is ideal for hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun spots, large pores, rough and uneven skin and appearance of skin laxity.

The Obagi System is comprised of a range of topical treatments developed to correct a variety of medical conditions. Some components in the Nu-Derm® system are prescription strength, for example, Tretinoin (an anti-aging Vitamin A derivative otherwise known as Retin A) and Hydroquinone (which evens skin tone and reduces hyperpigmentation) and require supervision by Mr Olivier Amar and our qualified aesthetic practitioner who understand skin and know what it takes to achieve and maintain healthy skin.

The Nu-Derm Fx System can prepare the skin before facial surgery to elevate the results, can be used as part of a one off skin rejuvenation treatment or as a skin maintenance treatment.
WHEN WILL I SEE THE RESULTS?
When used properly, notable improvement can be seen in as little as 5 – 6 weeks after beginning the Nu-Derm® Fx system. It is important that you do finish the 16 to 24 week treatment to see the results. At this point you may wish to continue with the maintenance programme, which can be discussed and agreed with Mr Olivier Amar.
How to use the Obagi Nu-Derm Fx System?
Step 1: The Obagi Cleanser
The very first step of the Obagi Nu-Derm Fx System routine is to use the mild facial cleanser to remove all the dirt and impurities that have accumulated on your face throughout the day. Use the Obagi Nu-Derm cleanser twice daily, morning and evening.Â
Step 2: Obagi Toner
The next step is to tone your skin using the Obagi Toner. The toner works to lock in any hydration, prepare the skin for other products to come and helps to re-balance your skin’s natural pH levels. As with the cleanser, you should tone your skin once in the morning and once in the evening as part of your Obagi Nu-Derm skincare routine.
Step 3: Obagi Clear FX
Obagi Clear FX works to improve discolouration and the texture of the skin. This should be used once in the morning and once in the evening.Â
Step 4: Obagi Exfoliator
Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoliator is designed to brighten and clear up your skin by removing dead skin cells and revealing the new luscious skin underneath. Make sure to exfoliate your skin once a day, during your skincare routine.Â
Step 5: Obagi Blend FX
Obagi Blend FX is a unique product to help improve hyperpigmentation of the skin, including melasma, age spots and sunspots that have accumulated over the years. Use once daily, as part of your nighttime routine.Â
Step 6: Obagi Hydrate
The penultimate step of your skincare routine is to moisturise your skin using the Obagi Hydrate moisturiser, suitable for all skin types. This moisturiser is especially good for any drier patches of skin, helping to lock in moisture. Use this product as you need it, either as part of your morning routine or evening skincare routine.
Step 7: Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50
As some of the products in the Nu-Derm System contain skin lightening agents it is important to ensure that you are protecting your new skin from the sun. Skin lightening agents can cause melanocytic activity on your skin even from the smallest amount of exposure to the sun.
