What is Aerolase® Era treatment?
The Era represents a new revolution in skin rejuvenation as a high-precision 2940nm laser that delivers high-fluence in a collimated beam, utilising a gentle 300-microsecond pulse duration.
The Era uniquely allows for independent depth of ablation of shallow or deep indications (plus, a non-ablative mode) within a treatment site. This new laser technology provides faster regrowth of new skin with minimal discomfort and minimal or no downtime.

How long does the treatment take?
The length of the treatment varies according to the amount of areas and depth of treatment and may take between 50-90 minutes.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Everyone’s skin is unique and therefore reacts differently to treatment. Some patients will notice immediate results, while others may see gradual results that appear over time. To maintain the results achieved with the laser treatment, patients should continue an at-home skin care regimen. It is important to understand that skin is always aging and that signs of aging will naturally reappear.
What can I expect after Aerolase ERA treatment?
Depending on the condition treated, you may have a recovery period of 1 or 2 days for most treatments and up to 5 days for deep wrinkle removal. The treated area needs to be kept moist with ointment and a slight redness of the skin may remain for up to two weeks following the procedure.
How long do I have to wait to return to normal activities following the treatment?
Depending on your type of daily activity, you will usually be able to resume your normal activities the next day.
