What is Forma V radiofrequency treatment?

Forma V, is a non-surgical radiofrequency treatment for the intimate female area. The Forma V device by In Mode delivers thermal energy to the internal vaginal tissues and external area resulting in production of collagen and elastin. This causes a tightening effect of the treated tissues, increases the circulation to the tissues, can enhance the secretory gland activity improving dryness and improve the overall appearance of the vaginal area.

Why consider Forma V radiofrequency treatment?

FormaV works as it delivers gentle and painless thermal tissue remodelling using radiofrequency (RF), helping to tighten the muscles in the vaginal wall. The Forma V can also be used externally to improve the loss of collagen to the labia majora . It is safe and quick to administer and there is no recovery time needed.

Forma V can been used for a range of issues including:

  • Vaginal and vulval laxity
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Labial hypertrophy
  • Dyspareunia (painful intercourse)
  • Urinary Stress Incontinence
  • Improvement in changes following childbirth, menopause and ageing

We deliver a bespoke non-surgical treatment plan for a natural 3 dimensional contour of the vaginal areas and labia.

Did you know?

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

Whilst in the same position used to have a cervical smear test, the Forma V probe is lubricated with a gel and inserted into the vaginal canal or onto the exernal tissues. The probe is rotated internally to ensure delivery of energy to the tissues and moved along the vaginal canal to cover the whole surface of the vagina.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Depending on your concern, you can expect a course of 3 sessions.

HOW LONG DOES THE treatment TAKE?

The treatment should not take no more than 30-60 minutes.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE RESULTS OF Forma V TREATMENT?

You should feel some degree of tightening in the hours following your treatment and this will improve as the weeks progress.

What can I expect after Forma V radiofrequency treatment?

Soon after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling and tenderness. This is a normal side effect of the treatment, it is only temporary and should disappear in one to three days but can last up to a week. The treatment area may be initially slightly uncomfortable, but this should settle in a day or two.

How long do I have to wait to return to normal activities following the surgery?

You will be able to return to normal activities immediately following your treatment. You should avoid strenuous exercise for between 2 and 4 days. We recommend avoiding sexual activity for a week following the procedure.
