What is vaginal rejuvenation by volume restoration and rehydration?

Hydration through DESIRIAL®
Hyaluronic Acid is injected for rehydration of the vulva and vaginal areas in women suffering with dryness or irritation.

Restoration through DESIRIAL® PLUS
Injections of hyaluronic acid can reshape the labia majora to give a rejuvenated appearance, conceal the labia minora and give a better appearance in proportions between the labia.
DESIRIAL® PLUS is a more elastic gel designed to remodel the Labia Majora (outer lips of the vulva) which has lost partial volume (hypotrophy) or total volume (atrophy).
After a certain age, the tissues tend to shrink, especially in the outer lips, which can lead to a decrease in the natural protection of the vulva and localised pain. The hyaluronic acid gel recreates volume, thus protecting the area once again.

What can I expect after vaginal rejuvenation and rehydration treatment?
Soon after treatment there may be slight bruising, redness, swelling and tenderness after the injections. This is a normal side effect of the treatment, it is only temporary and should disappear in one to three days but can last up to a week. The injected area may be initially slightly uncomfortable, but this should settle in a day or two. There may be some minor redness or bruising from the injection.
You should avoid strenuous exercise for between 2 and 4 days to prevent moving the filler or increasing blood flow to the face. You can return to your day to day activities immediately after your treatment.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are naturally and safely reabsorbed by the body over time. The absorption rate depends on factors including the concentration and type of filler used and the patient’s own life style and metabolism. HA fillers can last between a few months to a year.
Additional injections will be required periodically, generally within 6-12 months to maintain optimal results
